Music Opportunities
Adult Choir
Sanctuary Adult Choir rehearses September through May on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and provides music for the 8:45 a.m. Traditional Sunday Worship Service. Summer music program for this service is provided by various individuals and ensembles—both vocal and instrumental.Orchestra
The CPC Orchestra is made up of instrumentalists of all ages and experience levels. This group plays for periodic worship services as well as musical programs and concerts. The orchestra rehearses each Sunday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 in the Music Room. Director is Randy Benfield.English Handbell Choir
Mission Bells, CPC’s English handbell ensemble rings a variety of music, both at home and in the local community. They participate in worship services once each month. The group meets each Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Music Room. Director is Arleen Michael.Celebration Singers
Celebration Singers is a high school/college age choir that rehearses during the school year on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Director is Zorana Randjelovic-Flores.Contemporary Music Team
This ensemble rehearses on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary and offers a wide variety of music for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service. Director is Chris Studer.Children’s Choir (Angel Choir)
This children’s choir is open to children from six years of age through 5th grade. Members spend their time learning to play recorders as well as singing. They meet each Wednesday from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as part of the Wednesday Works program and continue beyond that during the year. Directors are Marsha and Randy Benfield.
