Children’s Ministries
Faith formation starts at birth and continues our entire lives. CPC’s ministries for children and families include Sunday School, recognition of milestones in the Christian journey, family nights, summer camp, and seasonal events.
Sunday School
Sunday School begins after the pastor’s Time for Young People during the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Their teacher meets them in the sanctuary and takes them to the upstairs Godly Play classroom. Parents meet their children upstairs after worship.
Children are invited to participate in the whole worship service if they like!
Stepping Stones of Faith
This program includes education sessions and recognition by the whole congregation at certain points in the Christian journey. These include:
Baptism
Entry into Sunday School
Lord’s Supper
First Bible
Confirmation
High School Graduation
More Ways to Get Involved
Summer Camp
Children entering 2nd through 12th grade are invited to attend summer camp at Westminster Woods.
Seasonal Events
Invite friends to join in for special events such as Kite Day (spring), All-Church Picnic (summer), Harvest Festival and Trunk or Treat (October), and Family Advent Night (December).
